I assume you are being facetious. Schiff is hiding the identity of the whistleblower, and saying he no longer matters. He's desperate to keep him away from anyone who can ask him questions, because the answers would show what a set-up this is.
So, no whistleblower in the House, but in Senate it's possible. We've already seen Rand Paul decry the notion that the whistleblower is entitled to remain anonymous. He could be served with a subpoena by the Senate as part of the impeachment trial.
But, when will that be?
