A basic foundation of justice is the right to confront witnesses and challenge them for bias. Schiff is saying that is off the table right from the start. And by putting the Bidens off limits as well, he's saying that it doesn't matter if Trump's request was justified. That's just absurd.

GOP should show up for the first hearing. The first GOP questioner should recite how unfair/biased the proceeding is, that it wouldn't be tolerated in any court of law in the country, and that he won't pretend it is anything other than a kangaroo court more appropriate to the Soviet Union than to the United States of America. He should then walk out.

Each other GOP member should do the same thing when it is his/her turn to speak, until the entire process is only Democrats. Drag it out rather than have a singular, mass walkout.

I’d disagree. The GOP should show up, break every one of the Democratic House’s bogus rules and get dragged out of the chamber, if the Democrats so choose. That would communicate to viewers the gross unfairness of the proceedings.
