Journalist Tim Pool claimed a video he produced about alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella was blocked by YouTube.
Pool posted a screenshot of the notification YouTube gave him revealing that his video titled Democrats formalize impeachment, but whistleblower identity exposes this as a political hit job was forced to remain listed as private, meaning no users can access the video.
The video, which was posted on Oct. 31, gathered 281,779 views before being blocked by the platform. YouTube, whose parent company is Google, confirmed the decision to block the video with a manual review that confirmed the algorithm's decision.
Pool claimed YouTube was following Facebooks lead and censoring posts with Ciaramellas name, tweeting, "Welcome to the dystopian nightmare, where big tech is colluding to censor newsworthy and public information."

My video talking about Eric Ciaramella has been forced locked by Youtube for dubious reasons
Facebook also recently announced they will ban content naming the Ciaramella pic.twitter.com/SVbRct6SPZ Tim Pool (@Timcast) November 9, 2019
Ciaramella was first named in a report from RealClearInvestigations. The 33-year-old career CIA analyst worked under the Obama and Trump administrations. Under President Barack Obama, he was the Ukraine director on the National Security Council.
He was briefly acting senior director for European and Russian affairs before moving to his current position as a deputy national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia on the National Intelligence Council under President Trumps director of national intelligence, as the Washington Examiner previously reported.
Ciaramella has a close relationship with several members of the Obama administration, including ties to Joe Biden.

And we all thought it was the other guy!
Just GIVE ME the right to sue them. A special court appointed by President Trump would hear these cases.
The median settlement should be at least $100,000.
A repeat by the liberal censorship should go to at least $500,000, with a cap of $5 million for the SECOND offense..
The censorship would STOP tomorrow because the third offense would not have any limits. And the censors would pay ALL court costs whether I win or loose.
If they are treated as publishers you cannot sue them because they refuse to publish your articles. You cannot sue the New York Times because they did not print your letter to the editor. They need to be reclassified as utilities. Then you could sue them for refusal to offer services, just as you could the phone company. Right now they enjoy the best of both worlds: they have the freedom to act as publishers but not be sued for what others post on their sites.
lol well said
WOW, Wash EXaminer put Eric’s name IN A HEADLINE...
