Napolitano was a judge for only 7+ years (unless you also count the 2 years he played one on TV).
He was a New Jersey “Superior Court” judge” NOT a “Supreme Court” judge. The “Superior Court” is one level BELOW the “Supreme Court” and one step above “County Court”.
The “Superior Court” has several divisions and Napolitano served on them all including family court, civil court, and equity court.

Besides being more opinionated than factual, Napolitano has ZERO Federal Court experience. His only claim to his knowledge(?) was a New Jersey Superior Court Judge.
Napolitano on the Supreme Court is a silly idea.
The trial portion of NJ Superior Court is two steps below the NJ Supreme Court. There is an intermediary Appellate Division which I gather he was not on. Nominating a superior court trial level judge to the USSC would be highly unlikely.
