That's all it does. It "audits." It's mission is to look at internal agency operations. It does not have criminal prosecution authority.
It can "investigate" - but it does not indict, arrest, or anything of the sort.
For years now, we have all been strung along by the "Horowitz Report."
If the Dept of Injustice wanted to arrest and indict the coup plotters and criminals - it could do so yesterday!
They don't need an IG "report."
