Maybe we need to hold a contest to come up with the most destructive academic in US History.

Rosenhan? Rachel Carson? Bill Ayers? Alfred Kinsey?

It would be a barn-burner of a competition that’s for sure.

I don’t know if Rachel Carson was an academic, but, not many people can say they have singlehandedly launched a movement that has killed *hundreds of millions of people*. Not Hitler, not Mao Tse-Tung, not Stalin, and not many others.

But Rachel Carson can. Most of her victims have been minority women and children, to boot.
