There are plenty of statues to tear down, civil war generals to dig up and guns to take away. They will have plenty to keep them busy. I just happen to be moving from my beloved Virginia in a few weeks. The writing was on the wall and I didnt want to have anything to do with its destruction.

If all conservatives end up in Texas while the rest of the nation is Democrat, they will crush any resistance, including civil war easily.
I do not see a different path. Between a Deep State that will outlive Trump and a total demographic shift in Republican states, we have already lost and cannot see it.
South Carolina, esp. Charleston, is still mostly sane.
As much as I sympathize with you, I figure at some point there’ll be no where left to run. My ancestors helped settle western Virginia; their graves lie in various plots that line one picturesque state road in particular through the Alleghenys. After a couple generation hiatus, I’m going to move back to the area and live out my days. Seems right to finish where it began.
Mississippi or Kentucky sound like the next home for us.
