Some of Alexander Vindman's fellow soldiers have blasted him for testifying in uniform...Military members detailed to the NSC 'typically wear suits'. ....His appearance in uniform has been a point of contention..
“This is a bad look for him to be in uniform," an active duty military officer stationed at the Pentagon told the Washington Examiner. "He makes it look like the Army is behind this. Like the Army is pushing a coup."
Another officer was concerned that Vindman’s testimony veered too much into personal assessment. “I don't care what he thinks, he's entitled to his opinion, But it's an opinion and he should give it without the uniform."
A third officer said that Vindman's weight indicated he would be unlikely to pass the 'Combat Fitness Test'.

He looked like a chubby little toady, never in combat, maybe worked in Supply, got promoted because he’s related to someone higher up!

My last uniform hangs in my closet. I’m old and would look funny wearing it. It would fit me. I will never wear it to garner sympathy or credibility. It’s my tool to remember what service means. This guy is truly an asshat, a disservice to our great folks doing their duty. His words aren’t worth crap.
If I recall correctly the pics of him in uniform showed the crossed rifles of the infantry branch.
Don’t forget, the Sea Services were ‘upset’ with Ollie North wearing his uniform to his hearings inre Contra..

He’s got the crossed rifles, and a CIB. He also has a purple heart. That being said, he’s the pudgiest infantry officer I have ever seen!
And yes, he should be court-marshaled and tossed on his rear-end. He is to use his chain of command, and follow orders.
Mine hangs in the closet for 35 years. I’ve seen some things today that I shake me head over. Guys overseas eating lunch on the local economy in fatigues. (No Marines though). Going through a gate and one female guard, saying “How’s your day Hon”,
“Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Transportation, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.”
At any rate, I agree he should be court-martialed and stripped not only of his rank, but forfeit all benefits accrued. I wouldn't mind seeing him as a year or two visitor at Fort Leavenworth.
As a former US Army NCO/Commissioned Officer I am bitterly embarrassed by this individual's wearing of the uniform at any time, anywhere.
The left has this fascination that the military is part of the coup. They may have fat REMF,ring knockers,ticket punchers and knee pad wearers with stars but they will never get their junta.

I wore my uniform proudly but I didn’t flaunt it. In my family it was a duty to the country. Dad, me, my two kids did our best and our duty to the USA. 1951 to 1998 was what we owed for our freedom. This guy in my Opinion put politics above country. We swear an oath, we never unswear it. His show off crap to me was wrong.
This SO CALLED military officer LEAKED classified POTUS phone call he NEEDS to be court marshaled NOW!!! This crap has to stop we have a poor enlisted guy in the brig for taking selfies FOR HIS KID in his submarine how in the HELL can the military have such unequal justice!!!
I agree except I have an acquaitence who marches in his uniform for Veterans Day .....and he wears it proudly. He Vust be now close to his 70’s. He served in Vietnam.
But this was most definately a “Spotlight show” ....the Dems never care about the military until they can use them for show.
