Bottom line is that the Ghislane Maxwell connection is not really usable as a general election weapon, except perhaps by *some* of Bloomberg's primary opponents:

Having said that, I think Bloomberg’s biggest challenge will be winning the primary. In the general, he’ll get the Democratic vote and a substantial slice of the upmarket low tax, libertine GOP and independent vote. If the GOP “helps” Bloomberg’s (D) opponents to find material to knock him out of the Democratic primary, that wouldn’t be such a bad thing. I give Bloomberg good odds in the general, but low odds in the primary.
