President Trump said Friday he is considering attending Russias Victory Day festivities, an annual May 9 military parade on Moscows Red Square that commemorates the Soviet Unions World War II triumph over Nazi Germany.

A Long Way From Home The Czech Legions Amazing Trek Across Siberia
The only Army who fought the bolsheviks inside of Russia.
Just maybe you learn some history you didn't know about. Or maybe you did.
Indeed. And in 1945 you cowards massacred hundreds of thousands of German civilians, mostly women and children.
The Nazis, as much as I hate them, might have had a point in referring to the Czechs as “an Asian people in the midst of Europe”...
But hey - I am not calling you a scumbag, for that would be insulting to bags filled with scum.
We better ask fired Gen. Mattis for his feelings.
Just to get the record straight, it was up to 30,000.
How many German civilians died in bombing of Dresden?
Hiroshima, Nagasaki?
Vietnam?
Iraq?
Yugoslavia?
Holier than thou American.
I know, those were necessary killings, after all, you did, right?
No one said it was right!
But over 1000 years of wars with Germany, Sudetenland fascist collaboration with Nazi Germany before and during the war, hundreds of thousands civilians murdered, tortured, exterminated, towns wiped out of the map, someone made a really bad call.
Those were nasty times a very bad things happened.
Guess you didn't get the Hitler's Memo about extermination of 1/2 the Czech population and enslaving the other 1/2.
Those lands around that border never recuperated and the almost empty towns are the legacy of that decision.
Of course. But there was never a plan to destroy 1/2 of Czech population, as detestable as the Nazis were, and the vast majority of Czechs collaborated until May 1945, right?
Furthermore, in 1918, the Sudetenland had been annexed to Czechoslovakia in violation of the right of self-determination, and in March 1919 peaceful Sudeten German protesters were gunned down by Czech security forces in many towns.
But from a Czech nationalist and Germanophobic racialist as you probably (and regrettably) are, I really expect nothing different than your words, which could be from some blood-drenched Commie-Czech nationalist propaganda textbook.
Well, someone said that the Czech national identity was founded solely upon hatred of everything and everybody German. If this should be true, it is deeply regrettable, as well as being rather, errr, a bit thin thin to forge an entire identity from, I daresay :-)
However, there are other Czechs who hope for and work for and believe in better relations between your “vlast” and mine (I have the honor to know a few of them personally). May their souls be blessed.
And don’t forget: there was not just war between our nations in history, but also long periods of peace. May these good times return.
Furthermore, in 1918, the Sudetenland had been annexed to Czechoslovakia in violation of the right of self-determination
So was Alsace to France, but you don't go bitching about that. It's us, unter Menschen, what bothers you. I got nothing against most Germans, but tired of your constant whining. Just leave us in peace for a change. You just never quit.
1,300 years of wars with you gets very tiring listening to you about fairness.
Since AD 680, when you couldn't stand the idea we would have our own kingdom and prosper.
EU is not different, except no bombs or heavy cavalry is being used.
Everybody who is not a sociopath feels sorrow about the fate of Czechs in WW2.
I never quit? What do you mean? I harbor no ill will at all towards the Czech nation, even if you mihght not believe me.
But this debate is obviously going nowhere. Live well, sir.
Sorry about the typo: it should have been: “might”, not “mihght”.
