That had to do with the Senators who told Trump they would not confirm Ratcliff - that was this past summer. Sessions was long gone and not a part of that.

Sessions singlehandedly kept an amnesty bill from passing. He deserves more credit than you give him.

The skill set of a Senator and of an administrative position such as AG are two different skill sets. Sessions was a great senator and not so good AG. He will be back doing what he does best and that is fighting illegal immigration.
