I still remember this dialogue from our high school play Deadwood Dick:

Judge: I fine you one dollar for contempt of court.
Dick (flipping dollar to judge): Here's your dollar, your dishonor. All I have for your court is contempt.

The star of our play, Calamity Jane, went on to have an illustrious career on Broadway.

Chances are that most in Congress have committed at least one felony to get where they are.
