” ...happy kind people tend to live longer and healthier lives. Everyone I ever knew who died of cancer was grumpy unhappy and cynical.”

Now that is a truly provocative observation, FRiend webheart.

I wonder where that leaves me? On numerous threads, I’ve tried to get some of our fellow FReepers to calm down on various issues, noting that there’s a difference between healthy skepticism and the sort of cynicism that can easily morph into defeatism.

At the same time, it’s hard for even rational, good-natured people not to be depressed over the current state of politics.

What will be the consequences for our health?

Life would be pretty good if it wasn’t for our government and out media.

I’m a cranky old man trying to be nice to people. However, I have about an hour in the morning where I groan and growl. Then I work to be positive watch the news swear a lot and go to bed. My biggest self diagnosed weakness is being blunt. It is what it is. Lipstick, a dress, high heels, and a push up bra don’t mean shit. It’s a pig not a prom queen. :)
