I don’t understand how, if all candidates are on the same ballot, that the vote for governor could be faked to favor the Democrat whil all the others favor Republicans. A hand recount should answer the question. I guess the main question is whether a paper trail is available on all voting.
If voting is electronic, there is no paper trail for each individual vote. None. The only count will be what the software recorded—rightly or wrongly—for the voting device. This is why electronic voting is bad, no paper trail, no way to really recount the vote, no way to know if the device works correctly or not, and therefore no integrity and confidence in the vote result.
If there are a lot of absentee ballots where a person only votes for Governor and nothing else.
