Weird. Reminds me of the MN race. There’s the chance the result could still flip. Both guys tied with 49% of the vote.

One takeaway tonight is Bevin outperformed his 30% approval rating by almost 20%!

He should have been buried in a landslide and he’s still in the hunt!

If it wasn’t for Trump, this guy would have sank with a 15% margin loss

This turd will get flushed

4600 votes won’t be found during a recount

I give Trump 100% credit, he did great

#metoo movement is working here folks, uniting suburban white women against Trump is what it was about. Trump needs to appeal to this group or he is toast as well.

I don’t know. Every state wide Repuke got more votes that the governors did. Polls also had the Repuke Governor at 35% 2 weeks ago. Agree that women are the weakest group for Trump but I’m also very confident that Trump’s numbers will be magnitudes better than Bevin

Where do you see that? Look at my post 459 with the counts. There were MORE people voting for governor than for the other races on the ballot. They just didn’t like Bevin as much.

That happened when Ted Cruz ran for re-election in 2018. He didn’t win by much and the media has been talking Texas turning blue ever since. Meanwhile Governor Abbot ran on the same ballot and won quite comfortably.

The libertarians should just sit out.

I would prefer that the Democrats and leftists and RINO lovers do that.

>VA is done, has been gone since Obama won first time.

One thing might change that. If Trump could downsize the Federal government and its influence there would be fewer lefty government/lobbyist jobs available and some to other deep blue areas where their electoral effect would be redundant. And if Trump transfers federal agencies out of the metro DC area he'll export lefty voters. He just either needs to export them to either blue enough areas, where they'd be redundant, or to red enough areas in small enough quantities to avoid smurfing them.

Yesterday, I looked on Ballotpedia. The numbers for both candidates were significantly higher, and Beshar had closed the gap by over 1000 votes. Today, those numbers are gone. Everywhere I look, it’s like they’re trying to hide the count and the margins. What’s going on?
