Trump is popular here. Why do you GOP politicians wanted him to come?
8 counties are fully reporting now for #KYGOV. Among these, Bevin is trailing his 2015 margins by an average of 1.54 points.
This is still decent for him given that he won by 9 points in 2015, but it's still very early.https://t.co/ss1HU1Ue6g— Ryan Matsumoto (@ryanmatsumoto1) November 6, 2019
Andy Beshear being endorsed by NARAL damaged him and it was heavily publicized in radio ads across the state by conservative groups. We will see if it damaged him enough.
I think you responded to the wrong post.
So far so good for the gov.
Still a good question. In a way its also a referendum on next year.
Rural Dems in *all* of Kentucky, east, west and central, are abandoning the national party in droves, in actual voting if not in voter registration although the trend there is to the right as well.
As of the 2018 election the Rats still had about an 8% registration edge statewide. Aside from the Louisville ghetto and the snowflake village of Lexington, the next most likely bastions of Rat votes would be from the soccer mommies and pussy whipped soccer daddies in the Cincy suburbs (Boone, Campbell & Kenton counties) but I doubt there’s enough of a swing to the left in that area to put them over the top — unless a lot of good people stayed home today instead of voting Bevin and the entire R ticket.
Rural counties are going Red.
Thanks for this info, RW.
I did not know we had a state called Kentucky.
CNN has Bevin increasing margin 53 / 45 with 1/3rd counted. Early Louisville votes also were encouraging....2 to 1 Bevin.....mail in early votes or absentee ? Encouraging none-the less.
he almost has a big enough lead to overcome Jefferson and Fayette county as some of them are counted already
It’s a Commonwealth.

If we can't win those counties in a big way, there's not much hope for winning statewide once the urban fraud machines get into gear.
The fact that Michael Adams has a lead at all with 25% of the vote in is a very good sign. He should not be leading at all, let alone by 10 points with 25% of the vote in.
