Kentucky usually elects a lying ass democrat as governor because like WV they lie like hell and and say their more conservative that the republican.
The results are starting to come in from Jefferson - stand by for the GOP leads to dwindle or be overtaken for all races then we see if the rest of the state pulls them back over the top.
But which of the politicians support President Trump and MAGA?
Public employees have a higher turnout in off-year elections.
If other folks can’t be bothered to vote, the public employees get what they want, no matter who they have to impoverish to get it.
In my years living and working in KY many years ago, I found they were heavily registered Democrats but voted Republican in national elections and democraat in local ones, as a rule. That is, with lots of interplay, such as family ties, etc.

The fact that Michael Adams is leading at all at any point in the night for the race for Secretary of State I take as a very hopeful sign. His opponent has 100% name ID and he was a complete unknown.
It is just anecdotal of course with only 14% of the vote in.
Don’t forget Fayette County and the precious little brainwashed snowflakes at the University of Kentucky.
The total # of votes there isn’t even close to Jefferson/Louisville but it is the second-most likely source of Democrat vote fraud and that might be enough if the race is close (which hopefully it won’t be).
Stand by - Jefferson is coming in. If we Republicans are leading after all of that is in, we are probably going to win.
The talking heads on KY Public TV are admitting that emphasizing a pro-life position is helping Bevin and the entire Republican ticket in KY because of Dems in the western part of the state who don’t subscribe to the national party’s extremist position.
Contrast Bevin and the KY Republicans with the national party who want to ignore the issue except in fund-raising appeals.
Thanks for the thread. Ready - Aim - Vote HOORAY Americans!
I can’t type tonight (We are obviously none of us personally on the ballot...). Let me try that again: If any Republican is leading their race or retakes the lead after Jefferson County has fully reported, they will most likely win their race.
KY is historically a blue state.
Theres no love lost for the national party which is out of touch with KY values.
You’re so right about UK. My daughter graduated a border line lost cause after four years of indoctrination there.
