Old Black Jack would know how to handle it. Imagine the heads exploding...Pershing was hamstrung by a government that didn't want him there and a POTUS who limited his ability to effectively deal with Villa.
I wonder if anyone ever told him that Col. Tompkins was only a few yards from where Villa lay wounded, and rode right past.
