That’s because you rise to power as a leftist by exploiting people’s envy and anger. It requires no sense of humor at all to peddle to the dark parts of people’s hearts.

Conservatives and especially Libertarians meme so well because they point out the obvious absurdity of things that are going on.

The Left is also a culture of being perpetually offended and using the constant gripe mode to exploit the rest of us into giving them handouts or power.

Hence the non-stories of “twitter exploded” over something Trump said or did we see all the time.

If you’re offended all the time, you aren’t laughing. A sense of humor requires a sense of irony and self-awareness.

Odd because the American Left used to be all about using humor. National Lampoon, etc.

It might also have to do with the extremely high percentage of anti-psychotics that leftists are on these days. Doesn’t make for comedy.
