A good friend was a VP at a very large American money-center bank. I still remember him telling me 25 years ago what a disaster "casual Friday" was from the moment they implemented it. Large-breasted woman wearing tube tops and fanny-hugging cut-off shorts, guys with sandals, wife-beater T-shirts, and bathing suits, etc..... The local HR had to become kindergarten teachers, outlining to the children what they could, and couldn't wear.
