If that's all this is, and I believe you're right, then it will be the biggest political backfire of our time. This all does one thing consistently, it drives people to take a good look at Trump and be persuaded to support him. It also make the entire dem party look like the totalitarian shitheads that they are.

That’s it exactly....however some Dems would certainly agree I think but are not ‘free’ to express without getting shot down big time by their own and cut out of the loop. Pelosi is a hard taskmaster and will use whatever means to keep her people in line.
Also I believe that down the road next year, as more of the Demrats see they are going to loose, impeachment or not. We’ll likely hear those who are not speaking suddenly find their voice....they still want to have their jobs.
