Baden saw the body. Strangulation marks are rather easy to observe for a person like him. He mentioned no strangulation marks.
Someone did an autopsy and reported the cause of death, and Baden observed the autopsy.
What the news media says is irrelevant. We have seen no evidence regarding a murder, and we have no evidence of who might have committed such a murder. Many people had a reason to kill him, which one did it? No one, as far as we know.

I understand, and obviously none of us know what happened for sure. However, none of this would be an issue if there hadn’t been negligence/incompetence involved at the jail (e.g. guards falling asleep, cameras not working etc.).
