Congress controls the jurisdiction of the federal courts. When the GOP controlled the House and the Senate the ability of individual federal judges to issue edicts overturning actions by the executive branch, or laws passed by Congress could have been ended.

More proof the GOP is an enabler of the destruction of the rule of law.

All the more reason to despise Paul Ryan. He and all snakes like him want to protect their gravy train due to providing access to the power of the Federal Government more than anything.
