No, far worse than any Parliament; this is all a la THE TRIAL by Kafka combined with Stalinist USSR “kangaroo court” trials.

The big advantage to a parliamentary system is that minority parties have more power and parties are less entrenched over time.
But I am unaware of any parliamentary systems that have a strong mechanism to protect individuals rights and stem majoritarian tyranny.
