The Washington Examiner has an article with embeds to the government’s response to Powell’s 160 page grenade. Mostly they throw back to “Flynn pled guilty”. Of more concern is there claim that rules of procedure do not allow bringing up new issues in the type of brief Powell filed. That is likely why Sullivan ordering the surreplies. We shouldn’t become confidant to justice — the courts and the swamp might find ways to subvert it yet.
Jessie Liu replied separately to say that the Mifsud phones have nothing to do with Flynn’s case, and they ain’t producing them. One wonders how exactly Jessie Liu knows the full content of those phones.
