My understanding is it is a Republican attempt to be allowed to offer amendments. The actual vote for going forward on impeachment is next, which is a five-minute vote.

Sorry - That vote was a vote on ‘Ordering the Resolution’; in other words, a vote to decide whether or not to vote.

A new vote just started on “Agreeing to the Resolution (HR 660, by the way).

Amash has already voted Yes; and the 2 No D’s have already voted. Let’s see if any other D’s vote NO.

3 minutes left on the 5 minute vote.

It's not this. It's a vote to continue an inquiry into WHETHER they should go forward with impeachment. It's not an impeachment of anything. It's just an excuse for the dems to keep demonizing Trump aided by the media.
