The idea is not even slightly controversial. Clinton fired all 93 US Attorneys when he walked in the door. Obama filled the office with loyalists.
The only problem is the intel community is so thoroughly compromised that anyone who has been there 20 years is either a Bushie neocon or Obamabot. The reason?
