I think the impeachment effort is doing major harm to them.
Wishful thinking. How would forcing Collins and Gardner to vote on convicting POTUS harm the Dems? It certainly would be a great help to their Dems opponents in those blue state races where the voting base leans Dem.
I don’t know about Gardner, but Collins has been very very outspoken. A vote is not going to make a difference, given his vocal support of the President and attacks on the unfair democrat hearing process.
They got enough video to make a ton of ads, if that is going to sway his voters.
