Hate to break the news to Rosie, but Arab Islamic terrorists are officially designated as white or Caucasian by the government classification system. They don't have their own race designation. Yet.
Last I checked, even the Indian subcontinent was officially part of whitedom, although the Brits classify them as Asian.

These types of crimes are categorized by ideology of the perpetrator, not by the color of your skin. If you have a white kid become a radicalized Islamist in prison and he kills an infidel, that crime is classified as a radical Islam crime.

Law enforcement is finding that a lot of these "lone wolf" white supremacist mass shooters are influenced by overseas groups, but they are not directly ordered to carry out these attacks by these groups.
Designating overseas white supremacist groups as terror groups would allow the FBI to prosecute Americans who give these groups material support, which includes spreading their message online.
