All the Dems and complicit press have to do is keep up the constant drumbeat of “He committed crimes” and make sure that the Republicans never get to conduct discovery or cross-examine. Nothing more. The gullible public will swallow it. Then maybe some gullible GOP Senators might swallow it, too.
