having been in the Navy eons and eons ago. I can say the oceans are bigly big big. I can’t believe if every inch of ice melted that the oceans would rise maybe a few inches at best.

Yes, I go jogging past a beach that I’ve jogged by for at least 40 years. Nothing has changed, if they were right the jogging path I use would long ago have been underwater.
Another good example—Utsukushima Shrine in Japan, intentionally built on pilings right above the water so it looks like its floating at high tide. The water comes up right where it has always come up. That shrine was built in something like the 12th century.
