Americans don’t understand that China is fathering the ‘opioid crisis’ in America, just as the West fathered the opium crisis in China in the 19th and 20th centuries. It’s payback.
Very astute observation. As we justly fulminate about China dumping fentayl in America, it would be wise for us to remember that China is well aware of the west (Brits) dumping cargo ship loads of opium on them and even launching wars to enforce it’s import.
It’s easy to imagine Chinese leaders smirking at the irony when we complain.
China is evil for doing it now, but maybe a little awareness on our part would be wise.
