The resolution is expected to provide minority Republicans with an opportunity to call witnesses and for Trump to defend himself against Democrats who accuse him of abusing power and obstructing Congress.

Why would anyone expect this? It would completely foil the dem plan for the coup!

I actually read the whole damn thing. All the republicans can do is request. The Chairman of the committee or majority vote nullifies everything. It’s a farce.
