The point is, they’re not fully on the defense. They are just in a box, and their best move at the moment is not to make one but try to force Trump to do something rash, which despite the media’s portrayal of him, is not something he is known to do (strategically).
They are very very close to be fully on defense. In about 3 to 5 days they will be there.
