Mother of Kayla Mueller: My Daughter Might Still Be Alive “If Obama Had Been as Decisive as Trump”

US ISIS hostage Kayla Mueller was tortured and repeatedly raped by ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi before her death in 2015.

Kayla was held by ISIS for 18 months before she was killed.

Other Western hostages were released by ISIS. Kayla was never released and died as an ISIS prisoner.

ABC reported:

Before her death earlier this year, American hostage Kayla Mueller was repeatedly raped by the top leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, according to counter-terrorism officials.

Mueller’s family confirmed to ABC News that government officials have told them that their daughter, who would have turned 27 on Friday, was the victim of repeated sexual assaults by al-Baghdadi.

“We were told Kayla was tortured, that she was the property of al-Baghdadi. We were told that in June by the government,” Kayla’s parents, Carl and Marsha Mueller, told ABC News.

On Sunday the mother of Kayla Mueller told reporters her daughter might be alive today if Obama would have been as decisive as President Trump.

The Hill reported:

The parents of slain U.S. human rights activist Kayla Mueller said Sunday that their daughter would possibly still be alive had former President Obama been as “decisive” as President Trump in ordering military action to recover her from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) before her death in 2015.

Mueller’s parents told The Arizona Republic that they credited President Trump with bringing Mueller’s killers to justice after the president announced Sunday morning that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been killed in a U.S. raid.

“I still say Kayla should be here, and if Obama had been as decisive as President Trump, maybe she would have been,” Marsha Mueller told the newspaper.

“For me what matters most I’m hoping now we will finally get the answers we have been asking for all along,” she added. “I think this administration truly might help us. I don’t think they are as closed about what happened.”

Her husband, Carl Mueller, added that it was “important” to him that Trump knew of his daughter’s story, and thanked the president for mentioning Mueller’s name in his address Sunday morning.

Carl Mueller endorsed President Trump at an Arizona rally in 2016.

Agreed, her parents are free to be angry, as long as they are looking in the mirror. They got her raped and tortured, because they raised her to be an idiot.

Jay Sekulow, chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice, also called on the president to show more strength in the aftermath of the execution of American hostage Kayla Mueller.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Kayla Mueller who was murdered by radical Islamists," Sekulow said in a statement.

"President Obama's response is woefully inadequate. His pledge to 'bring to justice' the terrorists who are responsible for Kayla's captivity and death is misplaced and misguided."

"President Obama needs to understand that battling ISIS is not confined to a courtroom - but instead, requires a well-coordinated and aggressive strategy to pursue and destroy the radical jihadists," he added.

"Mr. President, stop telling America we will bring these terrorists to justice," Sekulow said. "Mr. President, it's time to confront and destroy the enemy, not take them to court."

Catherine Herridge of Fox News reported via anonymous sources that the location of Mueller and other American hostages was known by the White House in May 2014.

However, a decision regarding a rescue mission was not made for seven weeks, because the White House had asked for further intelligence to be obtained.

By that time, the hostages had been dispersed

The good news is that since June of 2015 when one Donald J.Trump decided to run for the White House,we have been taking America back one step.

So not only are you displaced in time, you have no reading comprehension. That’s quite a set of challenges you got there.

She’ was a professed Christian admittedly a left leaning humanitarian

And naive

But she meant well

She had worked for Christian NGOs all over the world

She was with her boyfriend who was Syrian Christian and was working on communications for Doctors Without Borders

He and her crossed over from Turkish border near Killis and headed to DWB camp near Aleppo Syria

The doctors staff was incredulous they had just driven the 40-50 miles to Aleppo which was extremely dangerous

On the way to a bus station in Aleppo they were snatched and the boyfriend let go later

She was kept and we know how thst sadly went

The doctors at the camp later said they wish they could have just kept her at the camp/hospital in hindsight

I lost both parents to meth and was raped by my drug addict father when I was sixteen. So I happen to have a lot of first hand experience with other people’s monumentally stupid decisions and anymore when people die from said stupid decisions I place the blame precisely where it belongs.

I’m sure Kayla went to work in ISIS territory with the very best of intentions but had she bothered to pay attention to US State Department travel advisories, network news, Free Republic postings, or simple common sense she would have stayed home.

Hopefully Kayla’s ordeal and death will serve as a warning to others that “No, the damned Muslims are NOT basically good people.”

It made me less empathetic of people who make stupid decisions and then who blame everyone but themselves for the predictable outcomes of those decisions.
