However, she failed to note that quid pro quo used in foreign diplomacy is only acceptable if the President is legitimately elected. If the President is illegitimately put in power via the “faulty” electoral college, like DJT, then you’re supposed to be babysat, overseen and second guessed by demoncrat libertards.

I assume her point is that "quid-pro-quos" are an essential part of politics, both domestic and foreign, and that there is nothing essentially shady or corrupt about them. EVERY treaty - unless one of the parties is getting completely taken advantage of - is a quid-pro-quo, and much of domestic politics is based on brokering various quid-pro-quos, e.g., "I'll vote for your bill if you add this clause."

The sleight-of-hand that the left is trying to pull off is in saying that the PURPOSE of this quid-pro-quo was to help Trump's 2020 election campaign by sullying one of his main opponents.

In fact, from the context of the telephone call with the Ukrainian president, and from other ongoing investigations, it is obvious that Trump was looking BACK to the 2016 election to try to understand the level of foreign involvement in the Russia collusion hoax.
