The IC (intelligence community do/did a lot of illegal stuff on their own, but when they wanted cover, the Gang of 8 (McCain and the feckless Burr of SSCI would rubber stamp it. They thought they were cute going around Trump. Now they pay. They protected terrorists and Al-Baghdadi in Syrian under the guise they were “rebels” against Assad. As Rodguy says, Trump found a way around the CIA protectors and his Special Ops team went in, isolated the ISIS mastermind who whimpering and crying ignited his suicide belt surrounded by his own children. Trump wins again - for the American people.
