Federalist Society member Justin Reed Walker (born 1982) is an American attorney and educator in Louisville, Kentucky, who is a United States District Judge–Designate of the Western District of Kentucky.

Walker was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating from Duke University and Harvard Law School, he practiced appellate law in Washington, D.C., and clerked for Judge Brett Kavanaugh and Justice Anthony Kennedy. He taught as an adjunct professor at the Brandeis School of Law in 2014 before joining the faculty in 2015.

From my court guy Zen Master:

Judge Ed Carnes (11th Circuit) is assuming senior status when his successor is confirmed.

This means that Trump will appoint at least 52 circuit judges; he needs 4 more vacancies to occur (very possible) to be able to tie Carter’s term record of 56!
