I apply the same standard to Mattis and the author. Where Snodgrass stands on queers in the military I don't know but where Mattis stands on that issue is a matter of record, he thinks it's a fine idea.

That alone, for me, is reason enough to not applaud for him whether or not this particular accusation turns out the be true.

The criteria stands and the jury is in on Mattis as far as I'm concerned. Snodgrass, we'll see.
