At this time, we do not have any information on these individuals. However, we do expect to learn more about them in the coming days. This is another example of how sanctuary city laws, like SB54, bars our agency from getting into local jails to even conduct interviews.

So ICE is prevented from interviewing an illegal alien who is in jail for murdering a law enforcement officer. Only in California.

Now, somehow it seems to me that the guilty parties are the ones who actually shot the deputies, not the one who called them in the first place.

He may be guilty of making a false report, but that seems to be about it.

This is hairy. If a woman calls 911 because she’s being knocked around, is she obligated to tell them the culprit is her Ex-boyfriend. Would their response be entirely different?

The media is playing up the fellow who made the phone call because they don’t want the headline to be:

Illegal Alien Murders Law Enforcement Officer

Everyone associated with drugs in any matter or form lies. That's what drugs do to you.

Whether the drugs are legal or not, you cannot trust anyone that deals with drugs to tell the truth.

I have a sister-in-law who is addicted to Xanax and is an alcoholic. She can’t even distinguish the truth anymore. We can’t assume anything is true that she says until after we verify it.

For that matter, you can't trust the vast majority of people to give the full truth. ;-)

““Conversations are being held with the U.S. Attorney’s Office regarding the possibility of federal adoption of the case,” D’Agostini said”

Feds should tell them to piss up a rope. They provide sanctuary but now want to offload the expenses.

Some free advice. If you know someone that has lied to you one time. You can safely assume they're always lying.

Does that include the standard little white lies? I’ll trust your decision and always abide by it.
