I blame the snot nosed kid also. At age 16 I knew better. A bit of time with Latin and geometry and physics and girls and I knew there was a lot that I didn't know about the world.
That is a valid assessment. I also factor in the fact that she is on the Autism Spectrum somewhere, and when you hear her speak extemporaneously, you see it clearly. She is clueless.
Her parents should not only not have allowed her to engage in this BS, they encouraged and fostered it.
