PG&E has zero credibility in California. Its "goodwill" value is close to zero. This dramatically reduces its value in a bankruptcy sale. Any group which buys it from the bankruptcy court had better change the company name, even if means repainting all its vehicles and equipment.

I suggest Pacific Gas & Electric (aka Pacific Graft & Extortion aka PG&E) be renamed, "The Power Company" aka TPC. Watch this excerpt from the 1967 movie, "The President's Analyst":
