WASHINGTON — For more than two years, President Trump has repeatedly attacked the Russia investigation, portraying it as a hoax and illegal even months after the special counsel closed it. Now, Mr. Trump’s own Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation into how it all began.
Justice Department officials have shifted an administrative review of the Russia investigation closely overseen by Attorney General William P. Barr to a criminal inquiry, according to two people familiar with the matter. The move gives the prosecutor running it, John H. Durham, the power to subpoena for witness testimony and documents, to impanel a grand jury and to file criminal charges.
The opening of a criminal investigation is likely to raise alarms that Mr. Trump is using the Justice Department to go after his perceived enemies.

And this lets the media get stories written like this one is out there. I think though, at such time as handcuffs and mug shots become a thing, that will have an effect on the acceptance of these self serving bs stories.

By the frightened reaction and miniscule coverage by the media I’d have to say this is great news for Trump and the law. That nasty Paula Reid on CBS This Morning fretted that this could help Trump in the midst of his re-election campaign, yep, this is serious, seriously good.

This happened back before May... way before then. The security of the Grand Jury system has not been broken. The silence of those indicted is quite noticeable, and frankly, surprising.

I think you are right. What he did in Syria was a masterstroke in terms of the cease fire and Turkey falling back in line. Notice the Kurd story is no where right now!
