The so-called mother of this boy is a monster.

That this case is even in the news is frightening. I fear for our society.

Note she is not the biological mother. They had twins, and it appears she wanted a girl with her boy, so she tried to make one of them into a girl. And given years of working at it, she may well have convinced him in some way that being a girl was right. Kids are very easily manipulated, especially about trivial matters like what clothes to wear and what toys to play with.
