Assuming that this goes to trial in the senate, I have two questions- do the rules of evidence apply? i.e. is hearsay admissible? And two, can the senators talk about it and/or campaign while the trial is going on? The guy subbing for Sean Hannity today says that all these senators who are campaigning to be president have to stop campaigning and sit as the jury six days a week all day.
