From the outside looking in that is how I see the USA if the coup had succeeded. Tell me if I am off base. But an America where the Deep State wrests control would have made it no different than a Latin American state like Mexico.
You're only off base in terms of how long it would take. I would like to think the US wouldn't become a hell-hole in 10 years, due to personal and family wealth spread out over a vast middle class. Of course it depends on how aggressive the neo-Marxists would be in abjectly confiscating it. But you never know, it may be that the bigger we are, the harder we would fall. I hope I'm not around to see it happen, and I'm in my 50s.
