During the never ending Florida recounts of the recounts of the votes, there was a similar incident that made the news when a bunch of dems were counting votes/chads/whatever behind closed doors and a bunch of pissed off repubs marched up and started pounding on the door and yelling let us in-the tactic didn’t really work very well then, either-Bush won anyway...
Whether it actually “works” to achieve what you want to happen then or not, it does bring attention to the problem.
The dims are experts at this, they do things designed to get attention. Get enough attention and things do get changed.
We used to (and still do) laugh at the dims and their “craziness” but it has worked well for them. That is why things are such a mess now.
This was a topic on social media today and there were many that had no idea what has been going on with the impeachment process until this happened, and more than a few saying they were Democrats but not going to vote for this sort of nonsense going on now. The dim (likely paid) trolls were out in force to counter the anger against the dims, and they had their hands full.
