Apparently there are "intellectual" elites and "boat" elites.
If you want to try to understand any of this, there is video at the link.
“the town in America with the highest percentage of Trump voters,”
Where is this town? I am looking for a place to retire.
I use to own boat. Most boat owners are great people.
What a bunch of goobs. When you have to call yourself an elite, you know you’re scraping the bottom of the self-esteem barrel. He got one thing right - we can’t stand you.
I have some elite rope.......
The ‘Elite’ believe they have all the answers for the Rubes that cannot survive without their guidance.
They cant understand we detest their ‘guidance’.
As an author, Mr. Stein no doubt sees himself as a member of the "intellectual" elite. And (unless he is donating the proceeds to charity), he no doubt hopes that sales of his book will make him wealthy; a member of the "boat" elite. Guess that makes ol' Joel one of the 'boatual' elite? IIRC, 'boatual' may be one of the root words for 'botulism', which might also highlight the poisonous nature of liberal narcissism and hypocrisy...
;^)
I'm not an elite so I can't follow these "angels dancing on the head of a pin" arguments.
Thank Heaven we have elites like Mr. Stein to work it out for us.
Now, now. One must have deference and respect for our 'betters'.
Seems I remember an outfit called the “Elite Republican Guard” didn’t fare so well either.
There’s a difference between being an elite and being an elitist.
No, no, that's not right. The Elite Republic Guard smashed the invaders back to the stone ages.
Sure does think highly of himself.
“What a piece of pretentious crap.”
...who needs a good arse kicking!
And well he should! He wrote a book! And he's on MSNBC! Talking to Mika!
Im a Carry Conceal Elite.......I care about Rights!
I’m just guessing here he’s not talking about bass boats.
(not that you own a bass boat)
The second clip (Joel Stein Describes ‘In Defense Of Elitism) ends with Claire McCaskill saying, “I understand where you were, because for a lot of my state...”
Yep, we made it perfectly clear last November for the former senator from Missouri to understand.
My friend had a boat
He said boat was an acronym for Break Out Another Thousand
The 2 happiest days of a boat owner are:
The day the owner buys the boat
The day the owner sells the boat
