Hong Kongs government on Wednesday formally pulled the extradition bill that ignited months of violent pro-democracy protests.
I formally announce the withdrawal of the bill, Secretary for Security John Lee announced to the Chinese territorys legislature, citing conflicts in society as his justification.
Hong Kong has been roiled by protests throughout the summer, originally sparked by outrage over the extradition law, which Hong Kong residents say would allow Chinese authorities to effectively kidnap them with little evidence of criminality.
However, the concern over the law has ballooned into fear that China plans to throw out its One Country, Two Systems policy regarding Hong Kong and the withdrawal of the bill is unlikely to curb the protests.
China has vowed a severe response to the protests and has accused demonstrators of terrorism.

How does Hong Kong have a say? Isn’t it the Chicoms? How will the stock market react? Since the Chicoms undermine us 2 can play this game but our deep staters continue to surrender.
They’ll win when they yank the Chi-com puppets, who introduced this in the first place, out of their cushy offices.
I don’t think this would have happened without PJDT in the WH.
Hong Kong Chinese seeking liberty wouldn’t have been waving the U.S. flag, either.
The Beijing regime would rather have been dealing with Hillary just like the Russians. Instead, they got PDJT.
In other words.....winning!
yup
One thing for sure in 2019 its going to be a lot harder to behave like they did back in 1999 with Tiananmen Square
