I heard an interesting take on this, which was possibly this is a trap for the Dems. Once Trump is impeached, it moves to the Senate for a trial. At that point, the Republicans bring up witness after witness laying all the corruption out on TV while all the commies watch live. Then of course he is not removed.

Pretty risky counting on the Republicans in the Senate to not remove him though.

Wishful thinking. At what point in the past 3 years has the GOP Senate substantively supported POTUS against the Deep State coup. When they sunk his DNI pick? When the Senate Intel committee harassed his supporters? Referred his supporters for prosecution?

If the GOP Senate hasn’t supported POUTS yet against the Deep State coup they aren’t going to start now.
